Hijaz Hajj & Umrah Kafela, one of the premier Hajj and Umrah agencies in Bangladesh, was established in January 2023. We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive and all-in-one experience for pilgrims undertaking the holy journeys of Hajj and Umrah from any city in Bangladesh.

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our team and drive our mission forward.

Job Description:

The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Hijaz Hajj & Umrah Kafela, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, managing staff, and maintaining the highest standards of customer service. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the Hajj and Umrah industry, and a commitment to our core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, including sales, marketing, customer service, and administration.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business growth and improve service quality.
  • Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of employees, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Customer Relations: Maintain excellent customer service standards, handle customer inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, financial planning, and reporting to ensure the financial health of the company.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to Hajj and Umrah services.
  • Partnership Development: Build and maintain relationships with local and international partners to enhance service offerings.


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within the travel or religious tourism industry.
  • Skills:
    1. Strong leadership and management skills.
    2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    3. Proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
    4. Financial acumen and budget management experience.
    5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Language: Proficiency in Bangla and English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong ethical standards, cultural sensitivity, and a deep respect for the significance of the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimages.
